This screeding video has become one of the most-viewed tutorials in the series, likely because screeding is a misunderstood step that causes confusion for many DIYers and even some tradies. This video demystifies the process using ARDEX A 36 Abascreed, a pre-mixed sand/cement screed designed for easy fall creation and 24-hour trafficability.
We shot the entire series over eight days, covering two brands (Ardex and Dunlop) in a single custom-built bathroom module. Our crew used three cameras, gimbals and GoPro setups to capture the most useful and dynamic angles for each step. We also collaborated with Ardex post-shoot to ensure the script and VO delivered the technical accuracy their products demand.
Each video was built for use across training, web and social channels. We also produced a suite of cinemagraphs, subtly animated stills for added digital engagement. These videos are now widely used across Ardex’s training programs and social platforms.
