AgVision Event

AgVision happens every two years, seeing more than 120 schools attend to learn just how large the world of agriculture is. For the 2016 edition, held at Junee High School, we needed a full crew to capture all the events on offer and get a piece to camera from the school principal. The video was used as a marketing tool to encourage even more schools to sign up for the next AgVision.

Always Work with Animals

We had a four-person crew plus a trusty drone operator trying to capture all the classes and events on offer for students. With limited time and so many activities to film, we used Steadicams and gimbals to get up close and personal, staying as mobile as possible. We finished off the shoot with the principal’s piece to camera, which is always a two-camera set-up in order to give us more freedom in the editing suite.

“I have worked with Ashleigh since 2012 to produce 13 different series of educational videos comprising 132 individual videos suitable for secondary school students. One of the series received over 275,000 hits between 2013 and 2019. This is an extraordinary number and reflects the quality of these videos, resulting in their use by industry as well as school teachers. I really enjoy working with Ashleigh because he really engages with the content of the videos. He has an extremely professional approach to his work and openly discusses his ideas in a friendly and positive way. He provides creative guidance without being too overbearing or dogmatic. He is very thorough and always pays attention to detail throughout the production process.”
